Testimonials
When I started working with Tracey, I struggled with managing my workload effectively, time management, organisation, and generally feeling very overwhelmed. Following my diagnosis of ADD in 2023, my employer offered me coaching with Tracey, which has been transformational in these areas.
Tracey helped me break down large tasks into smaller, more manageable ones, prioritise challenging tasks at the start of the day, and experiment with different organisational methods. She also helped me improve my communication with my managers and colleagues, self-reflect on my thought patterns, and reduce negative self-judgment. Beyond our sessions, she was always responsive and provided valuable advice whenever I faced particular challenges.
Through our coaching sessions, I gained essential skills, such as setting better boundaries between work and home life, understanding which organisational methods worked best for me, and realising that long task lists were unhelpful and overwhelming. I also learned to be more forgiving of myself, recognising that productivity fluctuates and that one unproductive day does not define my abilities. Most importantly, I gained confidence in using my ADD to my advantage in the legal industry—utilising my creativity, ability to work well under pressure, and high levels of empathy.
Since working with Tracey, my work performance has significantly improved. I now have strategies to navigate difficult days and prevent them from setting the tone for the entire week. I focus on mechanisms that help me maintain perspective and break down tasks into achievable steps. I’ve also become more accepting of fluctuations in my productivity and understand the importance of taking necessary breaks.
Tracey’s coaching style is empathetic, patient, and structured while allowing flexibility to address any immediate concerns. She was supportive both during and outside of our sessions, helping me work through individual challenges. Her approach was always fair, and she encouraged me to see things from different perspectives, even when it meant challenging my own views.
I would absolutely recommend Tracey’s coaching. She tailored the sessions to my needs, whether through in-person meetings, virtual sessions, or shorter conversations during periods of burnout. Her high levels of empathy and patience allowed me to break down unhelpful thought patterns and find practical solutions. The ability to reach out for guidance outside of sessions was invaluable, as was her structured yet personalised approach.
My challenge was enhancing my skills as I took on a more active role in decision-making within the middle management team. I wanted to focus on improving my management abilities to effectively lead and support my team.
Tracey guided me in understanding my strengths by using the BeTalent questionnaire, which provided a clear picture of my abilities. Additionally, she assisted me in navigating challenging interactions with higher management through the Situation, Behavior, Impact (SBI) tool, ensuring my communication was effective and constructive.
Her support in crafting SMART goals further empowered me to set precise and attainable objectives, driving my professional growth forward.
Throughout my journey with Tracey, I gained valuable insights into myself, discovering my strengths and identifying areas for improvement to become a better manager. I received practical guidance on structuring difficult conversations with higher management, which helped me express my ideas in a neutral, fact-based, and clear manner. The support I received during challenging times was invaluable, and I also learned how to set meaningful goals for myself.
Furthermore, I was mentored in conflict resolution, applying these lessons to real situations, which significantly enhanced my leadership capabilities.
My communication skills have seen significant improvement, bolstering my confidence by equipping me with reliable tools to draw upon when needed. This enhancement was evident during a recent difficult conversation, which went exceptionally well, with my message being received positively. I am now more aware of the areas I need to keep improving, ensuring my ongoing development and effectiveness in professional interactions.
I would definitely recommend Tracey to anyone interested in self-improvement. She is incredibly knowledgeable and offers real-life examples that resonate deeply. Her approach was tailored to my specific situation and experiences, ensuring everything we discussed was practical, with theoretical concepts seamlessly integrated. Throughout the process, Tracey was kind and supportive, creating an environment that fostered growth and learning.
I have had a number of people management challenges, which can result in a tense environment and then prove difficult to deal with. For example, I have had to deliver news to a team member that they did not expect or want to hear or when delegating tasks to individuals who do not want to take on the work.
The workshop has helped me to understand and learn a lot about empowerment and accountability and how this can help create and maintain transparency in your working relationship. It has helped me with the challenges I would face. I used to be someone who would take on everyone else’s tasks/issues but I have now learned to support the individual so that the task/issue remains with them so they can learn to deal with it effectively.
I learned so much from the session. My approach to communicating and thinking about different perspectives has changed for the better, and I truly believe this will help develop my leadership skills when I face challenging situations. The biggest takeaway was the power of two-way feedback (remembering to listen and let the individual speak). I believe this will help me so much with difficult conversations.
The training session has provided me with alternative approaches to situations that arise on a daily basis when communicating with my team. I can see by making small changes, my team has responded immensely and in a positive way, which has helped me deliver constructive feedback and given me the confidence to deal with any potential conflicts.
Tracey’s coaching style is professional and engaging. The content and her delivery were digestible and effective, and the interactive tasks solidified what I learned.
I would highly recommend this workshop to law firm partners and leaders in general who are working with individuals. I have previously attended seminars and workshops which are not very engaging, and the content can be repetitive. When I first saw the length of the workshop, I was dubious as to how much I would take away and how much I would learn, given that it was an all-day workshop (sometimes, if someone is talking all day, there is only so much you can learn). However, on this occasion, the day went very quickly and I learned lots of valuable skills which I will be able to put into practice.
I had a lack of confidence and know-how, when entering my first line-management role. I was hoping to up-skill and gain the interpersonal skills needed to succeed in this role whilst also moving into a new sector.
Tracey helped me to understand people management, and to recognise my skill-set, strengths, development areas and to recognise where my expertise lies. Tracey is a wonderful coach for many reasons, not the least because she is personable and knowledgeable, but because she went above my expectations to share her relevant networks and contacts with me, which increased my confidence and helped me see my value to my field. I really valued these introductions beyond their ‘business benefit’but also because the events and individuals also helped me to see links in my strengths that I didn’t realise I had.
My skills profile proved useful to understand what kind of leader I am. I also found interview practice invaluable to my career progression and my confidence with entering a currently highly competitive market.
Tracey has supported me to succeed in 3 different sectors: I was new to all of them and went from strength to strength under her guidance and support. I now feel equipped to create my own personal development goals going forward and to recognise, in a way, how to ‘manage up’ or coach other people in the workplace.
I would describe Tracey’s coaching style as dynamic and adaptable because she reacted quickly and appropriately every time to my often complex and changing working dynamics and lifestyle. More importantly, she was kind, supportive, personable and a pleasure to talk to because she had a sense of genuine empathy.
I would absolutely recommend coaching to other people because it holds up a mirror to your development areas, almost like therapy, and helps you understand where you can better manage leadership or working styles in a psychologically safe way. With Tracey’s coaching, I have also learned to coach myself because I have gained techniques, soft skills and knowledge which will take me through my working life.
Even though I am currently in a much better place than when I started my coaching, I will be staying in touch with Tracey and have discussed future sessions because I have a new perspective on my own skills and my value, which I feel I have only begun to tap into. Thank you Tracey for building up my confidence and supporting me!
When I started working with Tracey, I was already in charge of an expanding team within a rapidly expanding company. The next steps for my role were to move upwards within the organisation and step away from a hands-on role. The challenges I encountered were around people management, dealing with peers at a higher level, and effectively interacting with senior management.
Tracey brought a wealth of hands-on management experience, applicable frameworks relevant to the situations I encountered, excellent guidance into further research, and, most importantly, support and objective assessments.
I have learned, among other things, to approach the situations I deal with in a structured way and to give clear and effective feedback.
I have made positive career changes and I feel like I am best equipped to take on the next challenges coming my way.
Tracey is a great listener who is able to create a safe space to discuss very specific situations. She uses relatable and relevant stories to get points across and draw learnings and experiences. She was always able to provide backing materials and further reading directions.
Tracey is also very reassuring and helped boost my confidence and morale. Her feedback was always honest, objective, and impartial.
I would absolutely recommend the programme to anyone looking to get into management or have been doing with or without support for a while. Tracey has a wealth or experience from which you can learn about managing, about yourself and others.
When I started working with Tracey nine months ago, I was technically very good, but always struggled with confidence, which meant I couldn’t make an immediate impact when meeting clients and contacts. This then held me back in building my business network and achieving my business development goals for promotion.
The coaching has helped me identify my strengths and talking through how to use them to my benefit was a real positive, as it allowed me to focus on these and overcome my insecurities and confidence issues. This enabled me to build my business network and presence in my specialist area in a way that was natural to me, giving me greater confidence to do more of it. I’ve now embraced networking and business development, doing this authentically.
Through the coaching, I’ve learnt that celebrating success, no matter how small, is really important.
We spent time working out priorities, and I’ve learnt to delegate appropriate work, allowing the whole team to develop. Sharing responsibilities with others to help them develop has propelled me forward.
My presence within the team and wider firm has grown, and whilst I have not been promoted yet, I am well on my way to getting there, as I am seen as a leader in the team. Even if I am promoted later this year, I want to continue with the momentum that the coaching has given me to achieve my full potential.
Tracey’s coaching style is exactly the right level of friendly support and encouragement whilst also challenging me to think about ways to approach certain situations and issues.
I would absolutely recommend coaching by Tracey, she has built my confidence up so much since we started the sessions, and I can’t thank her enough for all the help that she has given me.
Having recently been promoted to a new leadership role, I was trying to manage the transition from being a technical expert to a leader and all that that entails.
It was both a significant shift professionally and personally as my identity up to that point had been tied so tightly to my competency as an engineer and systems architect.
The most powerful way to achieve my goals was through the open discussions we had that helped me reach the conclusions myself and in my own words.
That’s not to say that the other coaching methods didn’t help, they did significantly. However, articulating my thoughts into words helps me easily transition to making positive actions.
Tracey helped me understand that the main barrier to my progression is one of confidence. It’s not something I thought I lacked, but you helped me realise that while I’m stepping into something of a new world professionally, I’m not necessarily starting from zero.
The leaps and bounds I’ve taken over the past year have certainly been commented on by my line manager. And personally I feel that I’m standing my ground with peers and have found a voice with senior managers, that is increasingly being listened to.
Tracey strikes a very careful balance of challenging my thinking and drawing me out to a place that’s slightly uncomfortable so that I can reach the connections. What initially surprised me was how much the sessions felt like work counselling, closely followed by how much I realised I needed it!
Tracey is very approachable, an active listener and has the unique quality of being able to help you find your own answers. The only agenda is your own, which can be intimidating to start with but she allows you to become the master of your own destiny in the sessions.
If you think that Executive Coaching is just for C-Suite Execs, think again! Anyone in a leadership position at any level in an organisation can benefit.
When I started my sessions I wanted help in being able to be more future-focused and helping to figure out where I may want to be in my career going forward.
Tracey helped me think not only about blue sky thinking and not giving myself a limit but key ways that I could perform a personal gap analysis to be able to see what I needed to work towards in short, medium and long term to reach my goals. She also helped with how I can manage stress in a useful way to help always bring me back to what I wanted to achieve.
Working with Tracey it helped me gain the skills of being even more aware of what I have control of and how I can use these to help achieve my goals. She also helped me understand other options in how I can be a leader that I may not have thought of to help me be the best leader I can.
I was always very quick to help everyone and take more onto my plate. Through Tracey’s coaching, I learnt skills that have not only allowed me to have a more balanced plate and also helps others grow.
I have also achieved 2 promotions while working with Tracey, bringing me way closer to my long-term goal.
Tracey is always very approachable and warm. I also think she always guides the conversation well, really taking into consideration how the individual that day is feeling and using the sessions to form natural flows. Tracey gives the individual time to process their thoughts and any questions before prompting for more which I found extremely helpful for myself to grow.
Tracey has recently facilitated a strengths assessment for our Partnership. This was a hugely insightful programme led by Tracey for ten business owners moving towards a new governance structure. Tracey allowed each of us to understand our individual strengths, characteristics, and business behaviours. Tracey is a natural communicator and sensitively moved us all through the process so that we can ensure strength in our leadership. Tracey has an exceptional ability to assess and develop an individual’s strengths and I would not hesitate in recommending her.
Tracey’s wise, empathetic approach has become a solid, grounding force as I navigate not only my business journey but also the instability of the pandemic. Her insights have been valuable when I’ve needed expert guidance and her supportive nature ensures she’s providing you with key learnings that you can apply yourself to help you self-regulate and build up your resilience. I absolutely recommend working with Tracey if you’re a business owner.
Tracey’s coaching was superb and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a career change or general professional coaching. I have no doubt that Tracey played an instrumental role helping me secure several job opportunities and offers. Thank you, Tracey!
I first started working with Tracey around 2018/19 when I was looking to make the career move from HR Advisor to HR Business Partner. I had been told by my manager that I needed to develop more “strategic thinking” but when I asked what that meant, they couldn’t give me a clear explanation, so I turned to coaching to try and answer the question for myself.
Tracey immediately set about getting my set up with my strengths insights to help me understand where my strengths and least preferred ways of working were. I didn’t realise it at the time but this was just the start of me gaining the self-awareness and confidence I was going to need later down the line to reach my ultimate career goal – to become a HR Director by the time I was 30!
In the five years I’ve been working with Tracey I’ve grown in more ways than I can count. I’ve developed from a quietly confident individual, who always had something to say but didn’t always feel confident sharing her opinion, into a natural leader who takes ownership for decision making and encourages her team members to do the same. I’ve become more self-aware of my strengths and least preferred ways of working, and whilst I can’t always avoid doing things I don’t like doing, I seek out opportunities to use my strengths for example bringing the right people together, at the right time using my natural ability to zoom out and see the bigger picture, coupled with being a natural planner!
In recent years Tracey has also helped me navigate burnout and some more stressful working environments. Tracey has been at the end of the phone in moments of crisis to calm me down and help me formulate a plan to deal with things in the immediate, to coaching me (often without me realising) to find a new working environment with an improved work-life balance and dare I say it, boundaries!
I’m now Head of People for c. 100 people, across 7 global offices at 28 so I’d say Tracey’s not only helped me achieve my goal but exceed it, achieving it two years earlier than I had planned. However, she’s also given me a different perspective. I’m no longer only focussed on my work. I’ve learnt that boundaries are important and that my identity is not tied to my job. I’ve also learnt to ruthlessly prioritise, meaning I get even more done, in less time because I focus on outcomes instead of tasks.
Tracey’s coaching style is calm, encouraging and the right level of challenging. She’s never afraid to ask the difficult questions and get to the why in how I’m feeling or thinking to help me process what I need to do next.
We have worked with Tracey over a number of years in law and coaching – she is pragmatic, commercial, empathic, authentic and has immense integrity. Tracey is solution focused and very human – she combines that very real and elusive quality of high emotional intelligence and deep subject knowledge.
Tracey is a fantastic coach, I’ve enjoyed working with her throughout 2020/21 – it’s been a challenging year. Tracey has helped me ‘see the wood for the trees’, enabling me to challenge my own assumptions, truly discover and develop my strength and be more effective in managing my time and having tough conversations in a productive manner. I would recommend anyone to work with Tracey!
The feedback we received from individuals who were coached and managers alike was exemplary and resulted in tangible benefits. Tracey is efficient, empathetic, a fantastic sounding board and, moreover, a genuinely nice person and a joy to work with.
I have just completed a 10 month coaching programme with Tracey and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking to develop their understanding of themselves, their roles and their potential. I began working with Tracey shortly after being asked to join the senior management team of our organisation. This was a new role for me, and I was being supported in developing my skills to maximise my effectiveness. As an organisation we were undergoing significant development , Tracey’s work helped me to both understand how I could manage this, and see my significance and potential.
My self-confidence and comfort with the senior role have increased markedly over our time together, and I would describe the process not as one of change in terms of becoming someone else, but more of a process of thinking and behaving in ways which represent me in the best possible way. Tracey’s approach is one of support first and foremost, but also of challenge. The tools that she used were far more accurate than I would have imagined them to be, and the breadth of similar or matching analysis of my behaviours/traits/strengths ensured trust in the system. Whilst not directly being told what to do or try in terms of my development, Tracey guided me to make those choices for myself. Transformation work, thank you Tracey!
Tracey was recommended to me by a friend; I was struggling with career development and progression, had issues with confidence, and couldn’t see where my career was heading. Working with Tracey was extremely valuable; she helped me figure out and understand my strengths, helped me to see which types of roles I would be most motivated and happy in and gave me a huge confidence boost! Our interview prep sessions were the deciding factor in me receiving two job offers; I do not doubt it! I felt much more confident going into interviews; we mapped out how to answer the questions I had most difficulty with and Tracey just really made me believe that I could do it! I finally feel like I have got my dream job and will have a purposeful, meaningful career. And I couldn’t have done it without Tracey
I was mainly looking for Tracey to help me better understand some of my personal motivations and career goals how those were aligned or not with my role at the time.
I achieved my goals mainly by taking the approach that I probably knew the answers, but needed to be asking myself the right questions. Tracey helped a lot with strategies and approaches to look at things differently and challenge myself – when I put up something as a problem, Tracey typically got me to think about how I could turn the problem to my advantage.
I was able to look past some of the day to day concerns and fears about my role and concentrate on where I want to be in the medium term and how to get there. I’ve got a variety of tools that I can apply daily to help me get there.
I think I am calmer and more phlegmatic, and whilst I do still take criticisms and worries to heart, I have a much better way of rationalising and dealing with my concerns.
It’s easy to struggle with feeling down professionally, but remarkable how quickly your mental state and your effectiveness can improve given the right tools.
As a result of an ongoing coaching programme with Tracey, we are more supportive in the group, as a direct consequence of having deeper insights into our own personal drivers and shared quantifiable abilities, and how these complement one another within the team structure.
This trusted collaboration is a powerful behaviour change that is clearly evident and displayed in daily work, bringing positive impact alongside our core values.
Tracey’s human approach and methodology, based around providing insights into individual core skills to build on the team strength, has been a great fit for our needs and focused on how we work with everyone across the teams.
Tracey is a generous, wise and level-headed woman and brings these qualities into her training, coaching and mentoring. She offers a balanced, insightful and empowering perspective which has been invaluable on so many occasions for the over-thinker that I am, allowing me to get on with the business of running a business. All this, as well as being a fantastic networker and collaborator! Tracey is just one of those women that you’re really glad you know.
My major goal was to be absolutely prepared for an upcoming job interview. The role is very attractive and I thought it best to see how Tracey could help me in any way possible.
Tracey helped me on two critical points.
Firstly, as this role was a leadership role, she ensured I had taken stock of my achievements, my traits, my strengths and my development areas. She even provided a questionnaire to assist in this process to ensure there were no gaps in my self-inventory.
Secondly, she meticulously prepared for a mock interview and we spent plenty of time going through every aspect that the role demanded in an interview format to ensure I was prepared.
The sessions ensured I had a rounded view of my skills, strengths and achievements and the mock interview cemented my preparation to respond to questions in a succinct yet effective way – calling upon a structured approach to storytelling when needed.
I’m happy to say the first interview went very well and more have been setup. Most importantly, I felt prepared and confident going into the interview which is the foundation I need to present myself well.
Tracey’s style was hugely positive, and supportive but attentive. She watched out for any ‘misses’ in my preparation and helped me think about how to integrate any changes, or even took the time to redo aspects of the interview.
I would absolutely recommend Tracey. She is such a pleasure to work with and her skills and experience absolutely ensure you make the most of all your own past experience and continue to work towards your potential.
Tracey’s coaching style was thoughtful, insightful, practical and positive.
Results were tangible and measurable, and real. The theory to help with issues was applied effectively.
I enjoyed each session for very different reasons, and I turned up with very different problems. Tracey was a calm reflector and clearly took me on a path which on occasion was back to a point where the unmanageable became manageable again.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with Tracey through my current employer, for which I’ll forever be grateful. As a young , single mum I am determined to succeed and progress within my career but struggle with low self esteem . Tracey has offered great mentorship through which she has also shared many of her own experiences and insights ,which I have truly resonated with. Working with Tracy has rebuilt my confidence and each of our sessions have enabled me to to streamline my goals and understand what it is I want to get out of my next role. Thank you Tracey.
I was recommended Tracey because I needed some help deciding my future career goals and vision. Her Strengths Review programme has given me a lot to think about. The detailed report and 90-minute coaching session offered an accurate picture of my strengths and how I can use these to support my career, plus over- and under-used strengths. I came away with some clear ideas on how to enhance all of these for the better.
Life as a business-owner mother of two young boys is stressful enough but add to the mix Covid, Christmas and moving house I jumped at the opportunity to share a session with Tracey on the circle of control and influence. We had an hour long Zoom meeting where I came away with clarity on the concerns I could control and the ones I couldn’t. I was then given ideas to ensure that I implemented my action points, but more importantly how to ignore the worries that I have no control over. I immediately felt lighter, focussed and ‘set-free’ from the multitude of disparate thoughts ravaging around my mind. Tracey has a calming way and her ability to really listen is what stands her out from her peers. Thank you so much Tracey.
Tracey is a natural coach. She definitely helped me to identify the things I needed to work on to improve my communications and delivery within my professional role. The thing I liked the most about her coaching style is that she never told me what to do, but guided me to find my own answers. She was also very flexible and willing to adapt to my needs and used various tools that help me identify what was blocking or hindering my progression. For example, we used ‘role play’ in order to understand how I communicated at the various levels in the organisation, so I was able to appreciate how others saw me and adapt where necessary. Tracey is also very responsive and reliable.
Thanks to Tracey’s coaching I secured my promotion and was told by my line managers that they saw a positive improvement in me. I can’t thank Tracey enough and would totally recommend her services.
Tracey is a very talented and competent coach. I have been working with Tracey to identify my strengths and working on developing my resilience, Working with Tracey has given me an understanding of how I display my strengths and how I can improve in certain areas. Today’s work on my resilience was priceless, I had a major breakthrough of understanding and this is so liberating. I know going forward this information and Tracey’s skill in coaching is going to be very empowering for me and will be reflected in my business growth. Thank you Tracey.
The coaching sessions that I had with Tracey were some of the most valuable conversations I have ever had. I was in an extremely difficult and demanding job in a tough environment. Tracey helped me to re-frame the experience in a positive light, to refocus my priorities and to identify what I truly wanted from a new role and present the experience to my next employer. Experienced, insightful, empathic, perceptive – and with demonstrable results for me. I could not recommend Tracey more highly.
I’ve been coached by Tracey for several months and I am always impressed. Her natural warmth makes the conversation relaxed but her ability to ask discerning questions is both thoughtful and powerful. Her experience brings a fresh insight to issues not yet realised. I value her time immensely.
Tracey is an empathetic coach who calmly challenges you to listen to your inner voice and see what you don’t want to! By creating a safe and trusting environment, she helps me to analyse the key issues by listening to what was being said; as well as unsaid, and asking probing questions. As a result, I have been able to pinpoint areas for change and then focus on taking appropriate action. I truly valued her insightful calm approach.
